 Theo Wagner began taking photographs when he was only ten years old. Of course, photography was already a family tradition. His aunt was a photographer and access to cameras and darkrooms was always available. An avid amateur through his teens, Theo took formal training in photography as well as apprenticeships.  Working as a professional for ten years throughout Europe, Northern Africa and even exotic Hong Kong, Theo specialized in architectural, commercial and industrial photography, as well as action shots for promotional campaigns. Later, he earned his Master of Photography. Gaining this certification, he was officially qualified to open his own business.
Attitude plays a great role in photography. At Theo Wagner's Foto Studio, we are "Euro" in our approach. Much of the equipment we use is European made, like the Hasselblad camera. Negatives are large - 6 x 6 cm square - and produce sharp, high quality, professional images. Photography is not just a job to us, it's an art-form and a lifestyle. However, we believe it is our task to create the most appealing, imaginative photographs possible - ones that tell stories, touch the emotions,and evoke moods. Well executed photographs do all this without a word ever being spoken. Our portraits aren't simply frozen moments in time. In the hands of a skilled photographer, the camera records much more than what simply appears in front of it. In a sense, a talented photographer is an illusionist who creates believable magic by improving on nature with the use of colour, shadow and light.
