The Rutland South area is varied and comprised of flat land in the north part
of the city. At one time Rutland was its own municipality, but has been amalgamated
with Kelowna for the last 15 years. There are several older and several newer areas in Rutland
as the city has grown very rapidly in the last 10 years. There are also several large hobby orchards in amongst the subdivision.
The area south of Highway 33, north of Mission Creek and west of Springfield Road and Hollywood Road South and that area north and east of Banks Road and Simpson Court.
