Ellison is comprised of mainly small acreages and hobby farms, this area is very
rural and just 15-20 minutes from any major center. The homes in this area boast
incredible view of
the valley and the city.
The area north of the Old Vernon Road and east of Highway 97 and Duck Lake and also including Quail Ridge.
The Ellison District was the name for Price Ellison who was a stock raiser and
wheat farmer. He was a long time resident of Ellison and served as MLA from 1898
to
1916. He was Minister of Finance and Agriculture in 1910.
