Beaverdell-Carmi is the area south and east of the Summit of Highway 33, including Westbridge, Beaverdell, Carmi and the Christian Valley. Beaverdell, with a population of about 350, is set in the mountains near a cluster of 16 small lakes that attract thousands of visitors annually. The Beaverdell business district includes The Beaverdell Hotel, a general store, a couple gas stations and other shops, and several restaurants that serve home-cooked meals.
